Does exactly the same to me, I never get tired of hearing it. My husband is Irish, his Mother born there. My husband passed in 2021. So it makes my cry. But love to hear it over and over. I've had this song played at three funerals and a wedding. The message is the same. It's all about life, some well lived and others just starting out. It's probably the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard. Oh, yeah, it's in my will that it be played when I am laid to rest.

I must say that this is my favorite. I was a truck driver out in a tiny community in a New Zealand suburb when I walked into a small shop to buy something to eat and this was playing. I asked the owner for the track that was playing and without hesitation said Hymn to Hope by Secret Garden. When I got back to my truck I wrote it down and searched for the CD in the stores and found it in the cheaper section of their display which really made my day😇.Well I thrashed that CD and till this day some 30 years on and I still love this track. The Uillean instrument and the violin complement each other very well indeed. Very anointed this track as it softens even the hardest of hearts. Another I feel that is anointed by Secret Garden is The Promise ..... enjoy💗❤
