You can paint both Styrofoam and Expanded Polystyrene (and a lot of people confuse the two I notice) with acrylic paint and a brush or sponge. It takes longer than spray but won't melt what you're painting.

One little additional comment here. I normally watch this with captions. However my hearing aid has a Bluetooth. I can direct the sound of the video directly into my ear rather than listening through environment noise. So when I took the long 20 hour drive all the way from San Antonio to Minnesota I set my you tube to listen to radio shows and such on the long lonely drive. Vivian was the only one I could understand. So I set it to her channel and put my phone in the cup holder and drove. It made the drive sooo much easier.

I've used those "wallpaper stickers" from DT... use caution. They do NOT peel off like a vinyl sticker, or 3M type material. They are paper backed and will just shred like a price tag sticker. If adhering them to something that's meant for it to stay on like forever, that's best. LOL I wouldn't consider them removable.

HEYYYY Vivian, I clip those pleather pumpkins to ribbon bows I tie around glass jars and fill them with treats or colored sand and battery operated tea lights. They look so Adorable 😍. Plus they are reusable for something different next year. Winning with DT decorations ☺️.

Love pumpkin tiara! Faux-leather clips can be added to mini trees or floral arrangements and yes "reeths."

As a mixed media artist I am drooling at some of what you showed here! The pumpkins with the clips can be clipped to a wreath....you can also clip on name cards for a fall gathering! The corn can also be used for wreaths.....just some craft wire to attach.....also could be used as you mentioned for decoration on top of the plates on the table or center pieces....the list go on! You should be able to spray paint those skulls....I mean....try it....what do you have to lose....maybe a $1.25?! As far as the carvable pumpkins...I would use an exacto knife or box cutter!!! LOVE the eyeballs!!!

There is a type of floral spray paint that won’t melt styrofoam. It’s called DesignMaster and comes in a gazillion colors. Might be available at places who sell permanent florals. We used it in the flower shop I worked in, and it won’t harm live flowers, either. Otherwise, someone else noted acrylic craft paint. That works great as well.

Most spray paint dissolves styrofoam. But there is a styrofoam-safe type of spray paint I think it's called floral spray paint or something? it just uses different chemicals that won't dissolve the foam.

You can put some rocks inside those Styrofoam pumpkins for stability before putting in the eyes. I would use the fake corn in an Autumn centerpiece. Maybe use the faux leather pumpkin clips in it, too. Just find little pumpkins, sparkly pumpkins, Autumn leaves and flowers and any other Autumn based decorations and colors. You can arrange them in a bigger pumpkin. I use plastic pumpkins as vases. Even real 🎃🎃 work but only temporarily. I love making seasonal arrangements.

Styrofoam skulls? Get some various powders such as charcoal, cocoa, makeup, baby powder. You can mix and match colors to look like different kind of dirt. Dust them with a makeup brush.

@vivian, I also got that orange "Carvable" pumpkin like 9-10 years ago& I sliced it in half so I could hang it flat against a wall. Painted it white, used black& white wrapping paper to fill the frame, then double sided tape or Elmer's it to attach the half pumpkin to the black& white paper, popped a gold ribbon bow on the stem & used a turquoise blue printable Michael's frame. People liked the 3D art so much& I love Halloween so much. Ya know I kept that shit up year round to this day

I paint styrofoam cups with loft acrylic paint.

In my experience, spray paint will dissolve styrofoam. You could try craft paint, papier mache, or decoupage with thin paper like tissue paper or fabric. You could also do the trick with spackle in an icing bag to create funky cake-like decorations on the skulls - try mixing paint with the spackle before you put it on. Otherwise, yes, most of the stuff is for wreaths/floral decor. The pumpkin clips would be good to clip onto a garland.

You can use the faux leather pumpkins in a swag, wreath or flower arrangement. They work great because you don't have to glue them in and can reuse them. That pumpkin tiara had me cracking up! You can also paint your skeleton head with craft paint & a brush or decorate it with paint pens. Absolutely love your videos!

They did have the eyeballs last year, but only the one kind. Since it says indoor only, then I don’t think you can float them in any type of liquid. You can paint the styrofoam skulls, just not spray paint. If you want to spray paint them, you need to seal them with modpodge or primer paint first. The mini corn would look cute with some mini pumpkins in a bowl or dough bowl. It’s wreaTH, not wreef or reef.

Those wall paper squares remind me of Flair Squares….twelve inch by twelve inch wallpaper from the 70s. A friend used them in her bathroom….ideal for getting around fixtures and sconces. Bathrooms are small but are a bitch to paint and or paper.

Folks used to hang that corn near the front door or on the door, sometimes in a wreath to show thankfulness for their good harvest that year. I hung real harvest corn on my front door every year when my kids were young. Still do when I can find 3 of them in contrasting colors.

The pumpkin eyes would be perfect for poking onto foam core and hanging in the hall way if you have a Halloween party, like to light the way to the bathroom. I love the phone case. I have a strap on mine so I can hang it off of my wrist. I have seen a lot of people use the tile to decorate apartments to give it some character and they can get their deposit back because it is removable.

Corn can be for wreath or abundance ,make hanging string with corn and add burlap bow some berry decor and ha g.Centerpiece too.I did paint the Styrofoam skull with paint acrylic and let it dry for 2 coats.seal with modge podge.

Get a short straw broom and attach your corn and a ribbon for a door decoration. The skulls look cute if you buy a roll of gauze and white glue at $Tree. Put the glue with a little water in a bowl. Cut strips of the gauze, wet with glue and wrap the skull like a mummy

Yes the corn is for decorating. You can place it in a dish or tray or whatever it looks cute in. Or put it in a bowl of fruit! Just don't put it in a reef because you were talking about a wreath but it could go there. 😉 The wall decor and wallpaper are great new products, ideal for so many things! Just remember that you'll be looking at it for a while so pick out a design you can live with. 😘 I know everyone complained when Dollar Tree raised their prices. But look at the better merchandise we're getting! 😚 With the economy so bad and literally everything going up so much, Dollar Tree has been the only store to give us more for our money and they haven't continued to go up. @Vivian Girrrl,- you can 100& spray paint those Styrofoam skulls but you have to do light misting layers. You can also use craft or acrylic paint& the kiddos can each decorate like instead of our along with a pumpkin. You were rocking the pumpkin tiara I have. Now you need to create a costume to go with it. Also, every holiday I spend way too much on decorations because they have new and better stuff, and I can't find last year's decorations in the garage. That is how they keep us loyal shoppers happy.

You CAN paint styrofoam! Get some spray paint from Michael's......I think it's their floral spray paint.....and after you spray a base coat, you can paint on top of that. I have done it a thousand (or so) times. Love you Vivian!

Put the corn on skewers and make a floral arrangement, add in the corn skewers and clip the pumpkins to the flower picks and put in a basket to make a center piece for your table...cut the skewers down to fit the height of the flowers...use a floral form to stick the flowers and corn and pumpkins into so they stay in place..

Vivian, try using artist charcoal to shade your skull heads. Oil pastels should work too. They’re like oil crayons. Good luck girl. Show us how you decorate them !!

You could take a nice bowl and fill it with the pumpkins and the corn and make a nice centerpiece. A lot of videos I've seen they take the clips off the pumpkins but I have to say you were seriously rocking the pumpkin tiara! Lol
