LMAO ... i bought one of the original ones that you showed in the beginning "the green one", i had exactly the same issues with that one, at first no paint until a few minutes of rolling back and forth until the pad was fully covered, then...i added a lot of paint that i thought i would need to finish a room, big mistake..it instantly began leaking and running everywhere like yours did, i think its actually a decent idea gone bad.. i found in a second attempt that if i only filled it about 1/4 or so full and made sure i flipped it horizontally quickly i could use it as the commercial shows it, but it just wasnt practical as i still had to refill it a few times to do a couple walls, Love the channel and your personality, keep bringing your style, and i'll keep watching : )

Helene Ahern You can only use water based paint and actually add water to your paint so it‘s easily and evenly distributed. You don‘t have to put any pressure on that roll if you‘ve put enough paint in it.

I actually have this and it works amazing!! I painted my entire kitchen, living room and hallway within a hour and 1/2!!!! You can not wash it and pour paint in it because the sponge will absorb the paint quicker that is why it leaked on you!!!

She dried it though? I'm confused because I'm thinking of buying something like this because my neighbour said it's great but she did say the mistake she made was that she didn't wash it first. I'm assuming you have to wash it before use to get rid of the loose fibres on the roller.

My neighbour has that item and he painted his whole house using that roller. I don't know how the hell he did it, but he had no problem with that roller.

You have to put water in the roller first and run it through. Then tip it out, add the paint and the damp roller absorbs the paint easily. I just bought one and testing it out in the next two weeks so will let you know how it goes. Try that then redo the video if it works 🤗

I literally have one of these and just painted a nursery with it with 0 issues. Worked exactly like the infomercial presented. Not trying to be mean you just gotta give things a better chance. The first amount you put in was good, it just needed to set.

I've been using these for years - both the Paint Runner Pro and cheaper versions. Mine are over 10 years old so it looks like the quality has gone down. My late husband and I bought 3 sets of them when they were on special offer at our local supermarket. I wrecked one a couple of years ago when I painted my Artex ceiling. A rough part caught the edge of the roller and tore it so it did leak a bit but I was still able to finish the ceiling. 1 down, 2 to go. Bought some cheaper ones from our local market and painted our 18ft x 13ft living room with it. Used a normal roller for the ceiling - it's Artex too and didn't want a repeat performance of what happened in the kitchen. We used the cheaper one for the walls. It did the job well, 2 coats of paint and no problems (wrap it in clingfilm to stop the paint drying out until you're ready to put on the second coat). The only problem we had with the cheap version was when we cleaned the paint out of it, the inner material disintigrated - which looks like what's happened to the one in your video Vivian. The original Paint Runner doesn't do that. Also noticed that the one you're using is made of different material to my older ones. Also the handle on my old ones is rigid and don't come off when I apply pressure - which you shouldn't have to do. You need to get the paint completely covering the roller before you use it and the instructions I had said to run the roller several times over sheets of old newspaper before using it on the walls. The little mini roller for doing edges - don't bother with it, it doesn't work - better with a brush for that, same with the corner one. I love mine and just glad we bought them when we did because obviously the manufacturers have gone for cheaper materials and ruined what really is a good concept. I will be painting my hallway in the Spring and will be using the Paint Pro again because we have a really high ceiling and don't want to have to use a standard roller and tray. No doubt the Paint Pro is probably made in China now so once my ones finally die, I won't be replacing them. Manufacturers should watch your video.

I don't know why people think that painting with a regular roller is such a PITA. Use a liner in the paint tray and wash the roll immediately upon finishing and there are no problems. This thing seems like way too much trouble than it's worth. Definitely pass! Thanks Vivian for shutting down the negative advertising on this one.

If it sucks it sucks and We'd all like to know it but if it's a good product in you don't use it correctly and say it sucks that's not fair! I honestly think it only leaked on the quart size container because you didn't have it on the arm and didn't have the other end cap on. and then that caused it to drip/leak all the excess paint it still had all over that area after you put it back together. But I agree the other end cap (not where it gets filled at) should not be popping off every couple of minutes, Unless it's one of those caps that have to be put on a specific way to "lock" into place, but even those are annoying as hell!... but even if i had this I would have to go buy a handle for it, I don't have a broom with a detachable handle, I stopped buying those damn hunks of junk b/c the broom end kept falling off! I even super glued one, lasted a couple months and went right back to falling off, I went to Dollar General and bought me a real damn Straw Broom - Witches Broom - what ever people want to call them - The old fashioned kind lol

You have to prime it, test roll it until roller is covered. Look at the roller in the infomercial, it is saturated with paint before he even touches the wall.
