He could have bought a piece of matching wood and ground it to dust, add wood glue to make a wood putty and fill in the gap and it should stain damn near perfectly to the natural wood. i mean, it was damage caused to someone’s private property by Linus Media Group through its employers while conducting business (making video content). Best of all, it’s all recorded! It’s probably something you can claim against a business liability insurance for, and probably even paying to fix the floor is an allowable business expense with no tax liability… so it’s probably not the END OF THE WORLD, you don’t have to pay for it out of your taxed salary to fix it… but I would be pissed off too in his place.
