Idk why I wrote so much, but for short thanks for inspiring me to read more ❤️ I’ve always have hated reading, never have been much a reader. i’m guessing like half of the population by now has probably read all the harry potter books. Some have read the whole Percy Jackson series, or are still reading, but i’ve never been interested in those books, I’ve read books for book reports that I liked but I would dread to read them. It felt forced, I wasn’t actually enjoying it. The thing is, all my best-friends are like totally book nerds (not in a bad way, I just don’t know how to describe someone who loves books otherwise) They read all the harry potter books (Shoutout to Evelyn, the total potter head in the group) And my best-friend Aanya, who is almost done reading all the Percy Jackson books, plus she also loves mystery’s. My other friend, Simona, reads too, more than me and I have no idea what genres she likes, but, hey! She is a book girly too. So, based on all my friends talking about the wonderful harry potter, Percy Jackson, Simona’s random books she reads, and some cool cover looking thrillers or mystery books. I decided to beg my parents to buy me a certain book on Amazon. (I have watched you and haley, not so much Sara’s videos for a while now, I want to become a book girly I swear! I just don’t know what I would like) Anyways, I bought the book Better Than The Movies, I love, love, love… rom-coms! And this book was totally amazing, idk what happened after I read the first 10 pages but the book wasn’t closed until it was finished. I read the whole thing in one sitting.. (Well, not exactly one sitting because I drove to an extremely casual restaurant where my parents expected me to be on my phone (which I was reading! My parents: surprised, and happy) So, let’s say that was yesterday and this whole day i’ve been looking for extra chapters to read as I have fell inlove with the characters. Thank you (and my friends) for inspiring me to read more, (and hopefully soon, whenever I am able to call myself, a book girly!) Before I can call myself a book girly, I probably need to read more than just romance, but after I read all of Lynn Painters books and start to drift onto other authors, maybe my friends will finally think i’m not glued to the phone. (P.S, i’m not glued to the phone, I have a-lot of sports)
