27:30 bumped into wade and goofed up the tuning, then tuned enough and killed his part, finally finished tuning. well done

Wade is something else. Guys vocals are top notch live.
@BigV1206956 жыл бұрын
you really think so? He's very monotone and his screams sound weak to me imo
@LeoSypniewski6 жыл бұрын
he definitely sounds more flat in the recorded audio than it sounded in the venue. one of the loudest vocalists i've ever recorded too. couldn't get that mic pre turned down fast enough lol

Wade was also sick for a few days on this tour. He’s an insane and consistent vocalist!

Been a fan of this band for awhile and saw them live multiple times. The screamer needs to progress his deeps like he does in his albums it's almost like he don't feel like doing his deeps
@FinalShadow175 жыл бұрын
they're not necessary as well energy draining for a show like this where its consecutive songs and energetic
@Nobody-ss7ks5 жыл бұрын
DarcPSN last screamer could do it.
@GageLeeHughes5 жыл бұрын
DarcPSN in my experience highs drain more energy. More air being pushed out, lows and mids feel more effortless, he may just not be good at bouncing between pitches which maybe what you're describing. His highs are good though so I'm good with it.

Hi Leo, I have some questions if you don’t mind! Did you also mix this live? Just wondering because you indicated the bass went direct through Sansamp. How did it sound live? And also do many bassists do this as well? Thanks for any info and keep up the good work!
@LeoSypniewski6 жыл бұрын
sorry for the late response! i did mix this live and like most bands, we did run the sans amp through the system. other than a darkglass i would say that Sansamps are the #1 choice for me when it comes to running bass through the live mix. it always sounds great!

Leo Sypniewski Understood! Thanks for the reply! Love the videos

This bass was running through the Direct Out on our Darkglass Microtubes 900 head as well as running through a cab for stage volume 🤟🏼

Another mixing masterclass Leo - the screamer is excellent - the guy on cleans sadly not as good.
@FinalShadow175 жыл бұрын
dont forget hes also playing an instrument. his vocals are actually really great but to be energetic to please the crowd, play an instrument, and focus on singing not to fuck up, its a lot.
