Secrets Maroma Beach - is it worth spending extra to visit this Adults only property?

We are currently trying to decide between Live aqua, Maroma and Haven - 9 nights (we go on to Xcaret after for 9 nights). It will be our honeymoon, couple in mid 30’s looking for good entertainment, great food/drinks etc. really looking for that luxury! We went to Unico last year and loved it. Which would you recommend?

Not to be the complainer but I was surprised to see very little footage of the beach. The highlight of this resort is the beach. Never got a good look at it.

If you want to leave the resort you would have to take a taxi and it wouldn't be more that 15-20 minutes to get to some good shopping and food

when i was there it was 40+ but it was plenty of 30’s & 40’s and a few 20’s

This is a great resort. The beaches and the food are some of the best in Mexico in my opinion!

The value at Planet Hollywood is a hard to overlook right now. If you looking for a great All Inclusive Planet Hollywood is a good choice.

Have not been to the two Secrets resorts though EPM is absolutely amazing and would not be a bad pick.

I would say that EPM is a notch above the Secrets properties. Not a boutique hotel, but less crowds and a few things such as tennis lessons included, awesome smoothy station at resort, and overall just a little more attention to detail.
