I remember listening to you guys back in 2016, you were everything I listening too and probably my first ever band that helped me cope with all the nonsense in my life. It’s quite crazy how my life went from sleeping on a foldable chair in a living room with parents fighting to living on my own in my second year of college. This song defiantly hit me hard since anxiety is something I’ve dealt with since I was just a small child. Anxiety attacks are the worst thing to ever deal with because they come out of the blue and they’re so random...I remember my dad had to take me outside for a walk every time it happened and it was the only thing that helped but now that my parents are away it’s hard. Keep doing what you’re doing guys and to anyone battling mental health issues stay strong, you’re not alone.

Secrets have been through every aspect of my life. My Dad is currently sick with cancer and I’m trapped in a place in my mind telling myself that he’s going to lose this fight and I don’t feel like I’m doing enough for my family while the head of the household is sick. The first few lines *So help me God to fall asleep at night* relates to a majority of the nights these last few months of this year. I sit in bed, cry, and feel like that my world is over. I’ve been having constant panic attacks at school and every time I speak to someone they give me the same *oh yeah everything is alright and ok just to talk to me when you’re feeling this way* speech, yet I feel like whenever I talk to someone I feel like nothing is improving. I’m still the same person as I was yesterday. Sad, feeling useless, and drowning in my anxiety and pessimistic thoughts. It’s hard to think that this decade rounded off with my Dad being diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. I love you guys so much for releasing this song, I read the lyrics like a book after I finished it. I’m not crying right now because my whole family is around for New Years and I don’t want to come off as a complete crybaby while the ball drops. Take this as a gigantic thank you for this song SECRETS.
