Got the hobby of my life yesterday at my local card store. Hit an Orange Elly /25 in my silver pack, Acuna 1/1 patch auto, another rookie auto from Tampa, my black gold was Elly, Lou Bob Mystical /75, and a green /499 Yamamoto/Ohtani card. i've been liking the chasing majors website too. but only for 2024 and newer releases. they usually include the odds which is why i like it.

Bought (4) blasters instead of a hobby and got an 89 on card auto of a rookie. A numbered mystical Mike Trout, Arron Judge Paw patrol SP and a J. Dom Stratospheric Stars SP......I can't complain also the one Black gold was Paul Skeens

Great as always. The SSP print run being down big is the biggest takeaway of course. Had a Target Circle discount that I used too to knock blaster price down to $20 for the maximum of 3. Going to be a fun fall of opening baseball cards!

I love that you do these videos - but like you say there's a lot of non-quantifiable things that fuzzy things up like the relics/autos/silver packs... There's gotta be a way to factor those in, maybe knock $20 off hobbies and $40 off jumbos for the silver pack 'value'... Then for relics, maybe a $5-8/per value and autos another $20 or so. Hangers are also definitely juicier with the yellow and yellow foil that aren't valued on the sheet. I'll still throw my money at hangers versus fat packs just for the added protection of the box.

Ripped a hobby and a jumbo. Didn’t get a single Skenes base, nor Holliday. Not sure how that can happen with that many cards being opened. Got a great couple of boxes with solid hits but thought the odds of missing on those two would have been crazy low.
