Mahalos for sharing your intel. I’m that guy you’re referring to, as far as just wanting to catch my first Ahi. I need all the help that I can get. Didn’t grow up chasing Ahis and limited with a tiny boat. Still, I am determine to get one. Every year I learn just a little more from guys like you and one other friend that are willing to share their knowledge. Much thanks. I’m like a blind squirrel trying to find a nut.LOL😂 All good tho. Just part of the learning curve and having to pay my dues. Tight lines and stay safe.

Thanks Garrett. Down seas what head type do you run? And vice versa what do you use going into the current? Cause u mentioned into the current you going faster and just getting back to the spot....I think the lighter lures would skip.... maybe haf lure into the current?
