Battle Cat is absolutely amazing. A fully-articulated giant cat body? What's not to love? :D It's great that you managed to get so much use out of it. Admittedly, I would have loved to have seen Clawdeen get the "Classicized" treatment, haha. Oh, what could have been!

This was such an awesome video about the always awesome Battle Cat! I have long since sold off my childhood BC, but he is the gift that keeps on giving as I find him in thrift stores semi-often. Sadly sometimes his tail is broken. But he is so totally more recognizable than even Teela as I've seen people think of her as a female warrior toy or even Xena. Once while selling a Battle Cat, a guy was so thrilled to find me selling it. He zoomed in on it & asked how much. Because he didn't call him a green cat & shared a story, I sold him BC cheaply, It really is & should be about toy love. Thanks again sir!

One of the things that I love about Battle Cat is how the decision was made on his box art not have him with his helmet on and how his helmet is off to the side. This is the one piece if box art that I want as a poster. How is that Cringer/BattleCat is capable of speak? Can Beast Man use his mental powers to control Battle Cat? And why doesn't Battle Cat have stripes on his tail. If I ever get a cat if the cat is brown I'll name it Streaky,. If the cat is black I'll name it Panthor. If it's a Tabby of course I'll name him Battle Cat.

I hope one day we have a fully articulated cringer figure. You would think with how popular battle cat and well known the filmation show is, there would at least be more than one cringer figure, but I guess just give revelations battle cat a cringer head once unmasked and call it a day I guess

We hear a lot that things are often re-used and re-cycled at Mattel, but there seem to be a lot of figures or prototypes that get developed and then never see the light of day - ever, so does re-use apply only to Mattel-owned but not licensed properties? At which stage does a figure have to hit for a toy company (e.g., Mattel) to say, "Well, we've invested this much, let's just get it out there, one way or another."

It depends. In modern times, you can;t reuse part from a licensed property in another toy line. But if the toy line is owned by the toy company (like Hot Wheels, or GI JOE with Hasbro) you can do anything you want!

Putting out more POP figures sooner would have been good. As for a single item, I really wanted the planned 2016 SDCC exclusive Prince Keldor and Prince Randor which was the "Anakin and Obi Wans Clone Wars" pack if you will with Skeletor before he became evil.
