Slashdot had the Windows 3.1 thing. In the comments somebody says they followed this up. Apparently, somebody said "Some systems even look historic like they were designed on Windows 95". So that's "like". Not "are". The person who followed this up also says they are probably just VB6 applications with outdated controls. If anybody wants to take a look at the Slashdot piece, I'd link but then this post would probably be removed. The Slashdot piece is called "Southwest Airlines Avoids Crowdstrike Issues - Thanks to Windows 3.1?". From July 20th.
