@Raghavan Narayanan Are you sure sir? From what I know about astrology, Rahu and Ketu denote the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they move on the celestial sphere. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the north and the south lunar nodes. They are called as shadow planets and do not physical body and they always move at 180 degrees from each other (in a horoscope they will always be 6 houses away from each other). This is why when other planets have a dedicated day for them in the week(when their influence is high), Rahu and Kethu have few hours dedicated to them, everyday. Also, planets like Uranus, Neptune are not given much importance in Vedic astrology because our ancestors felt they are far and their effect on us is not much.
