Antonio, nice illustration of 'knight on the rim'. The essential Na5, characteristic of the entire Ng5 variation, remained there vulnerable and ineffective while the fianchettoed black square bishop was a monster. The game was decided on the black squares f6, g7 and h6. I would say black was not kind to his pieces. He needed a plan for that knight.

Good game, learned some and I won the first 'scream to Agad' moment as I screamed for bishop captures on h6 Lost another two after that. I know you would not be too keen on it, but I believe most enthousiasts/amateurs lack in end game. From what I understand you are quite competent/solid in your endgames and I always look out to learn from such situations, when it's down to tablespace games and especially with just kings and pawns or maybe one other major piece left. Thank you.

Love the "scream to Agad moment" terminology, especially since like you I did exactly that when I saw the potential bishop captures move. Getting these right in real time is far more satisfying than pause the screen moments.

Sometimes when I've been wanting to play a move for the whole game and finally I get the opportunity, I get blinded and don't see that there's a better move. I think that this is what happened to you when you missed that Bxh6. You really wanted to play Bb2 and take the long diagonal since the game started haha. Thank you Antonio, this was very interesting as always. Keep up the good work

Greetings from the ranks, A heartfelt note of appreciation for the treasures you share on this board! ❤ In the grand theater of chess, a new knight has captured my attention-Tunde Onakoya. His moves and strategies remain an enigma, a puzzle I am eager to solve. Could you, the guardian of this ancient game, illuminate his path and battles for me? Your wisdom in unveiling his tales would be a boon. With anticipation for your sage insights, Yours in the spirit of the game,

Hans Niemann = next Bobby Fischer - Wesley So = current Bobby Fischer - Bobby Fischer's ghost = old Bobby Fischer - Beth Harmon = Bobby Fischer in another universe Each of these 4 'is a prodigy, had a rather dark childhood and is American'. Speaking of Wesley So Hikaru's (the rapid WFRCC) wife almost beat Wesley So's (the classical WFRCC) girlfriend! 2023 USCC - Indeed Carissa Yip won and thanked Wesley So as her secret second in the 2023 USCC closing ceremony speech. But in Carissa vs Atousa, Carissa was losing most of the game. Atousa just blundered in the end. move 54 for black is an 8-move equality puzzle it's so sharp [Variant "From Position"] [FEN "1Q5k/3r1rn1/p3N3/Pp1p2P1/1q2p3/1B2R2P/5P2/6K1 b"] 1... The idea of White pawn b3 and Bb2 in the game variation doesn't work if Black plays energetically. 13.O-O Bg4 14.b3 now 14...Ne4 and if then 15.Bb2 Bxf3 16.Bxf3 Qh4 17.g3 Nxg3 or worse 17.h3 Ng5. White position is terrible.

Hey Antonio. Just want to give you some honest feedback. I really like your content but sometimes you show so many variations that the actual game gets lost in it. Variations are good to see but I think you go too far with it sometimes. Just something to consider. The actual moves of the players is why the game gets chosen. Not the variations. But some variations are an interesting addition. Not sure what the balance point is.
@jaiminpatel727511 ай бұрын
No! Variations are the fun. You get to know what the players were thinking, why they made the move or avoided the seemingly obvious ones. We should check the variations obviously and even if sometimes, he does go deep, we don't mind coz it shows the level of the players.
