Some teachers are saying on the calculator, Hexa means base 16 but you are also saying that Hexa means base 6 so which is which ? Which one is the correct one ?

Binary- base 2 Hexa- base 6 Octa- base 8 Decimal- 10 Hexadecimal-(6+10)- 16 Octadecimal- 18 Etc… Hope you understand now?
