Okay, so like--here's what bugs me. If Starla knows that her parents prefer more casual settings like Wing Kingdom, and are basically party animals, then why the hell did she arrange a fancy dinner at a fancy restaurant in the first place? Herb said himself that he and his wife were trying to impress Muscle Man by putting on an act, so did Starla lie and say that Muscle Man was some fancy guy? I couldn't help leaving the first episode feeling like she was selfish for trying to make everyone pretend to be who they weren't, especially for first impressions. If they'd chosen a casual night at Wing Kingdom, Starla's parents probably would have approved of Muscle Man immediately.
