The thing about reusing things for animated films is that it’s incredibly hard for the animators to make those movies, drawing thousands and thousands of frames is hard, especially back then, when you couldn’t just clear, copy and paste, so Disney is not “Cheeping out”

The shrieking shack was never haunted it was just Remus Howling once a month on a full moon and it was a place he could go to transform safely away from everyone that’s why it was built that year. Dumbledore spread roomers around Hogsmeade and Hogwarts that it was haunted to help keep Remus’s secret. What a legend of a headmaster.
