Stayed here in November! It was amazing! So clean and i loved that it is adults only so no annoying kids screaming in the pools! So the fridges are not re-stocked by housekeeping.. we used to get a visit from housekeeping and another visit from a guy with a kart to replenish the fridge. I love that the toilet and shower are separate so my partner could spend his personal time on the toilet in the morning while i shower and we were not in eachothers way 😂😂😂 for an all inclusive resort the drinks were amazing!! 🍹🍹

Thank you very much for this, we are going to this one in October. Do you recommend making reservations before you go, for spa things (massages) or restaurants for evening? Do we tip every time somebody does something for us? Seems there is a lot of service and details. We don't have a car, are we near shops etc in walking distance? Much thanks for any answers to these or tips!

So the spa you should make a reservation, Dinning is up to you. However it may help. As far as tipping is concerned I would recommend tipping the bell hop, and the bar tenders. Usually the bar tenders maybe a dollar per drink or what have you. The shopping is within a long walk, but you can take the bus for about 12-15 pesos or so, or you could take a cab, I personally recommend against uber in Cancun.

How did you get to the hotel? Did you book your transportation? If we dont drink, do we have to still tip anyone? No luggaes

So I booked AmStar directly through the secrets website. They have an easy pick up location at the airport. It is a shared shuttle and I believe it was $15 each way. Tipping is only if you would like. The “bell hop” will expect it but you don’t have to tip anyone. If you get soda from the bar every once in awhile you might throw them a little.

We can't stay on a property that doesn't restock the fridge with bottled water every day in Mexico.

I know worst case you could probably get bottled water from the bars around the resort. I am fairly sure the restocking issue is just with me.

I think there might be one in the clock and that is about it. I always travel with something like this amzn.to/3EHTYhj. This way I have plenty of outlets for my devices and I am always prepared.
