Great podcast as usual. 33:59 I do have to say that I agree that using Rhino allows a lot of flexibility in design just because you are not constrained to standards like for instance having a straight wall. Rhino felt like the hardest thing to learn but I will say it definitely isn't that bad when you get the hang of it, I recommend using ArchiStar it's got some great tutorials for Rhino. I will say though it's quite a lot of work to get plans and sections from rhino, Revit and AutoCAD are definitely a lot better in those situations but it's great to model in Rhino and then put into Revit.

Try letting the restrictions of your site, materials and brief take over your design as in don't think too much about style and focus more on letting the restrictions design your project in interesting ways. Good design comes out of planning great design comes out of oppression.

great podcast bro... do you use a physical or a digital schedule? which one do you recommend?
@ThomasRowntree4 жыл бұрын
i would recommend a physical diary or something but digital would work just as well
Architecture school, you don't need to know Cadd, Revit or SketchUp before starting, Also, Architecture school, your project isn't as polished as Tims (who has been doing Revit 2 years before hand) lol
