Love that concept of reevaluating marriages after 7 yrs. It just makes sense. I think the tribe is the Lakota.

Joyful to see you in full teacher mode. It almost feels like a 1-2-1 session with you. Resonated with EVERYTHING you shared. I've learned to love myself to the end of the universe and back and I want nothing less for and from my mate when they're ready to show up. Knowing that the true purpose of our relationship is to wake each other up to who we really are.

Thank you for that. I can relate to needing to find God within. Instead of thinking I want a relationship. That a great out look.

Deceit is tough. And it always boils down to what Dr. Beckwith said, forgiveness. Only then will we be free. Only then will healing begin…for ourselves and others who’ve hurt us.

That has got to be the worst part of having “two families”! They want you to ‘choose which family to belong to’!!😢 EXCUSE ME BUT THEY ALL BELONG TO MY FAMILY!!! OHANA MEANS FAMILY NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND!! Don’t cut the baby in half!! When you live in this all your life, you get tired of being cut in half!!!!!😢😢😢 You finally say look when you can ALL SEE YOU ARE ALL APART OF MY FAMILY AND STOP FIGHTING OVER ME; THEN COME TALK TO ME!!! For my peace I need this!!!!

Thank you, after listening to this podcast, I downloaded the Eight Principles of Thriving Relationships, and read it in its entirety. I love the positivity outlook in every relationship scenario. Living life from a classroom model, by asking what is the universe teaching, and how to apply the lessons, to become a better version of ourselves. At the time of the storm, this may be most difficult, but with the tools of mediation, prayer, and visioning, if applied, we can see ourselves into the sunshine. Thank you, Dr. Beckwith, for not only diagnosing the issue in relationships, but you have given us the path to healing. We must do our work. ❤❤❤

That lady who is upset with her parents is understandable, but she is missing the bigger picture that she is here! It doesn’t matter how you got here. Embrace the fact that her parents made the decision to give her life. Sit with the parents and find out what happened. So many people don’t know their father , are victims of forced conception etc. she has so much to be grateful for

Thanks for turning what she feel is negative into something positive. However for the sake of all… please stop saying “ such and such happen 40 years ago or whatever time frame the disappointment happened. It’s disrespectful. She feel hurt & she was lied to. Also the word forgiven is used so loosely. We don’t have to forgive anyone however except and not feel anguish would be more ideal. It’s so uncomfortable when people do this…

This is a beautiful and very open and communicative episode ... thank you Rev Michael ... I also appreciated the part about how you can't not be transparent in relationships ... because in not saying the truth ... in love ... in a fake relationship ... but I do like that you also said that we must do everything with the intention and action to love and be helpful to one another ...which is sometimes hard when you are wanting the other person to do better or keep their word ... but what I see now is the importance of showing your true intention which is to love the other person into the best version of themselves... sometimes love and good intentions can get lost in translation ... but now I see that truly love and friendship and kindness and forgiveness is what really matters 🙏👑☀️🦋🩷
