I just wanted to say I don't think you have to be so worried about staying on track! This is how conversations work naturally, we spin off of things, so it just feels like watching a natural conversation! And it doesn't really matter if you forget the question, bc as a listener I do as well, and the conversation just keeps flowing. Loving it so far, it's very cosy!
@R3yR3y553 ай бұрын
I get Rae doesn’t want to go off track but just go with the flow that makes it fun and interesting. Staying so structured will make it kind of boring. Just enjoy it be in the moment have fun and chat
@R3yR3y553 ай бұрын
@@arting6539 I see what you’re saying but I’m avoiding comparisons to other podcasts especially friends podcasts. I think both rae and Lisa are finding what works what fits. They’re taking feedback and thats great but of course have creative freedom and not dictate what they do. It’s a new and exciting thing for them both.
@poupouiri3 ай бұрын
yes, it comes off as much more natural and free flowing when the conversation just goes with whatever they want to talk about!! they can still follow up on topics afterwards but it makes it very rigid to just follow a structure
@audreyarrz3 ай бұрын
I agree, like you can start with a topic or have a topic lined up as the main discussion. But what I enjoy is when story's develop and conversations move in different directions. FOR EXAMPLE: Brittany Broski Report - her podcast It's hilarious and she's literally in a room by herself, talking towards random topics, but has one overall theme for the episode. Very entertaining and natural

I think the most appropriate intro has to be "escape with us" or something like that. "Escape with Rae and Lisa", "escape with [guest name]". It's super cool and it will play into what you talked about in last episode about having something like lore attached to the pod.

I'm honestly so happy to see this side of Lisa on the podcast 💗 As an artist I've been inspired by her for YEARS and its so cool & inspiring to hear her talk about her experiences in her journey as a girlboss QUEEN 👑 Also as someone who is hyperfeminine but also wants to be taken seriously in business, i really resonate with her. I'm soft but not weak!!!💪and that's OKAY I can't wait for more episodes!! ✨

As a long time lurker and viewer of Rae, We are used to the chaos and excited to learn more about Lisa with this podcast. With that said, here is my only feedback (please don’t come at me 😅) Rae is a perfectionist and when she gets excited on a project, her ambition shows and starts planning out everything she wants to do and even says in the first ep that this podcast is going to last “forever” and even shares how she is worried Lisa is gonna slowly fade away. Rae is her biggest critic and she has something really great here with Lisa and the podcast. Structure is needed yes, but the tangents in my opinion is the most enjoyable. Go with the flow and your “intro”, “ending”,“communities name” etc will come organically. And just have fun. Can’t wait for the 3rd ep! ❤
@Risng_Phoenix3 ай бұрын
Rambling is the best part of the podcast. Just keep rambling until you finish talking, then think of a new question, get off track, ramble, and start again. If anything, staying on track to much makes it feel to stale. You two have a decent balance right now.

I actually like the "ranting" or side-tracking in the podcasts, because at the end of the day, it's a comfy space for talking and sharing ur feelings and not an interview, so it's okay if yall get diverted from the topic!
@DavidPSmavidАй бұрын
A little late to the party, but one of the things I absolutely love about Alythuh is just how earnestly she asks "Oh, what is that?" She shows genuine interest in the things that Rae is passionate about and it just drives the conversation forward.
@joshuajarvis2253 ай бұрын
Ladies, the "off track" nature of the pod is part of the appeal. The more raw the topic the more value I feel like I get out of it. Don't forget that you two have the freedom of zooming in or zooming out on any topic you like, but the BEST topics are for sure the ones you want to hear from each other. Maybe start a list of topics you either want to touch on or deep dive into relative to each other first? I like what I see so far and I appreciate that it's a podcast that is uniquely Rae and Lisa. I like the idea of having Marche get a mic to offer context and check google for things. Keep it up ladies! May God bless your endeavors.

I'm really enjoying the podcast! Like others have mentioned, don’t stress too much about staying on track. I appreciate when a podcast has a natural flow and the hosts engage in lively conversation. It’s great when discussions jump from topic to topic organically. Maybe consider bringing a few ideas to fill any lulls, but if the conversation is rolling, there’s no need to circle back to earlier questions. I really enjoy podcasts that embrace a more chaotic, free-form style!

Hey Valkyrae, I'm not feeling great right now. As a disabled content creator, I've always tried to find my own voice, but I often end up feeling like I'm just following in others' footsteps. I had to step back from content creation when my laptop broke, and it’s been tough. I just wanted to say thank you to you and the community for helping me take my mind off things, even if it’s just for a little while. More than anything, I've always wanted to build something of my own and be happy, even if being in a wheelchair makes things a little harder.
@notfoxvt3 ай бұрын
Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling that way. It's tough when you're dealing with both the challenges of being a creator and the extra difficulties that come with being disabled. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I can relate to the feeling of wanting to carve out your own path. I've had to face some tough challenges too, and I understand how alienating it can feel.
@BoonDoxGaming3 ай бұрын
no but here's the thing, it's not just about you. This is a universal feeling among many creators, even those without disabilities. Feeling like you're following someone else's footsteps and craving to create something that's truly your own can be incredibly challenging. It's important to remember that you're not alone in this feeling.

It’s good to have a list of questions to fall back on to avoid having long silences, but you both have such natural conversational chemistry it feels like real conversation and not just a script which is great! Hiii! Loving this podcast so far and can’t wait for more!!❤ Anyways I just wanted to give a friendly tip. It might sound weird, but I’ve watched other female podcasts before and they made a really good point to be aware of. And actually, this just goes for everyone who is always on camera for a living. HIDE. YOUR. FEET. Lol Either wear socks or close toed shoes. Do not show them on camera because there are creeps out there who can screenshot them and do whatever they want to it (sell them and what not). I believe there’s like a website with pics of celebritys’ feet or something like that. I remember Gina Darling always mentioning this: It’s precious merchandise that you can make money off of, so don’t let people see it for free!!😂 Valkyrae is wearing socks so she probably already knows whats up since she’s on camera alot. But yea it’s something to be aware of and I hate that we women have to do shit like this. Just cover your feet 😅
