My life has never been “prefect” but I’ve experienced what “perfect” seems. I have a lot deeply rooted pain and unresolved trauma. I’ve been smoking weed on and off for 15 years , I’m 34 , I was an alcoholic. I occasionally still drink (hate it, makes me feel bloated I get ,gastritis it hurts) I’ve made progress but my dad had an aneurysm back in October and it hit us really hard. I started smoking everyday and drinking every weekend. My father is getting better. I’m getting married to my wonderful fiancé this week! We won’t be able to move in together until my dad can be independent and my fiancé graduates this spring. Tons of ups and downs for me as of late and as always been during this recent life experience. I want a balance I want to experience “mellows” very tiring to be juggling intense highs and lows without much balance. I feel like idc if I die but I’m not selfish like that I know the few closed loved ones will suffer a lot. That’s why I choose not to get too close to people. I’m holding on, I’m doing things that I think will bring me happiness and success and I’m ready to choose that over anything else.
