Keeping malice with your partner is a form of emotional abuse..abuse is not only when you beat a woman..it can be emotional,financial(esp when the man is a sole provider) etc..

“Am I a wife beater?” Frank Edoho has given an answer to this question which exemplifies the kind of response physically and psychologically abusive men give to such an inquiry. They speak about all the good things they do for their wives and all the amazing things they do for women while equivocating on the question. If Frank says he is not physically abusive towards his wife, whether the former or the current one, then as someone without any clear conflicting evidence I would have to believe him. However, it must be clearly stated that the keen ears of psychologists who are trained in the field and adept at understanding how abusive men respond, may pick up troubling bells upon listening to Mr Edoho. Note: Psychologists warn it is it is important to know that abusers rarely engage in abuse 100 percent of the time. There are frequent periods of kindness and calm. Such as those described by Mr Edoho: photography, hugs, polite conversations and so on. These periods of kindness do not invalidate moments of abuse but are actually a part of the cycle of emotional manipulation. Be wise.

Keeping malice is not good either, in my opinion it is a form of abuse also (emotional abuse) it's always wise to talk about whatever it is that you are not happy about in your relationship. God bless you, sir.

Sometimes, when issues happen between you and someone, there is a tendency that you want to keep quiet so that the person realizes his or her mistake. I will only have issues with that if it lingers on for long (especially in marriage)...and I believe that the other person should be able to pick change in the air and apologize accordingly. Also, I might have issues with this case if Mr Frank is wrong and yet maintains the attitude...while the wife is right. But for this...I believe maturity in marriage is not just about understanding your partner's words...but feelings, emotions, needs, mood...and lot more bunch to that. He is communicating with a gesture that his wife would pick...I will say

Hmmm I’ve read a lot of comments and I must say, I’m quite impressed that people are very good at analyzing other people’s opinion and drawing out some sort of comprehensive conclusion based on their perceptions and ideologies but the truth remains that we are all humans and we all see, listen and act on things differently. No man’s (both male and female) perfect so don’t try to play God in other people’s lives. Every human on earth must or should have a cope mechanism. To you it might be wrong because you would’ve preferred that he acted exactly how you played out the scenario in your mind but the truth is, He’s not you! and whatever he’s dealing with in general, if you were to fill those shoes, you might have died. I guess my point is when you listen to people pouring out their mind or sharing what they know, simply listen and pick the ones that are relevant to you. You don’t have to agree with everything. Always remember that only the person who wears the shoes, knows where it hurts.

Frank might have NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) trait. 1. He cited the fact that he beats his partner using malice. Maliciousness also known as "Silent Treatment" is tool used by someone to punish their loved one. An healthy mind will want to talk (communicate) a person with NPD will not. He might actually beat his first wife but Malice (silent treatment) might be the new cane for the second wife because there was noise that he beats his first. 2. He said if you're married you should not allow friends and acquaintances get involved in your marriage. Naturally marriages should not involved third party (family and friends) but that's also a tool of Isolation (to keep those who will witness his abuse and protect his victim at bay. Classical NPD act. 3. He went ahead to elaborate on what he has done for his wife that a wife beater or abusive person will not do and when his wife suggest he should do it and get paid for it he made her realize that he's doing it "For Her"-, classic NPD tool called Love Bombing. An NPD will beat you , beg you, blame you,pamper you,tell you they love you then beat you again, blame you again,beg you again, pamper you again 4. He talked passionately about the need for submission and used reverse psych to elaborate that the way a woman can control a man is yo submit. In my opinion,the best way a woman can get alone with a man is to be patient and tolerant and same goes for the man. Seeking for submission is like seeking for control. One thing about people with NPD is that they always see their partner or children as an extension of themselves (whatever such does they believe reflects back on their personal image.) Hence such individual's autonomy (wife or child ) needs to fall in alliance with whomever they (NPD) projects them to be. His body language says he's still hurt by the divorce (he walks out of the marriage) As long as their woman's voice(sense of identity and autonomy does not rise above theirs they have no problem) but if you are a woman , a child that has a voice of his or her own and want to be heard, you either get active aggression (which might results to physical violence) or passive aggression (Malice -Silent treatment)

Your explanation answered all my silent questions. I was like " that is an emotional beating" so it's beating as well. For me , no matter the issue we should be able to discuss it and move ahead. Hear him say with pride ' my wife knows. If she crosses the line......" It's hmmmmmm I can say

I wish I was incentivized. If I was, the word "Might" wont be in that first line. Because using NPD without proper diagnosis is dangerous but those close to him will know and believe me no matter how blissful his current home is, he's not happy that he walked out of it. Because the thought of it will always make him look like a failure and also the offline and online bashing etched in his memory. He walked out first I guess so that he could say "I left the marriage for her not she left me in the marriage" It's always about image and how they want their ego driven image to be impeccable.. you need to experience or read up on it to understand what it is.

@arogundadeshesansamson917710 ай бұрын
Hmm , I disagree with Frank Idoho on what he think a wife beater is A wife beater can actually do all he does I.e support ,cherish allow the wife freedom and bla bla bla.and still remains a wife beater When a man cherish his woman so much and believe she understand him but been betray by the same woman and he. is not mature enough to let go of the woman , I mean work away being that he has emotionally invested greatly, he will beat her. However an almost mature man will count his lost and move away with his sanity carry his pains to death or being hill with time because marriages is not boy friend and girl friend thing. A mature man will recount, readjust and continue the relationship wish is also a risk , because that can lead him to 6ft below the ground or a happy ending. Keeping malice with your spouse is good if you have a good woman that understand and cherish you she will quickly know that you are angry for a specific matter and settle with you but it should not be abused by using it to.blackmail her else it will creat a bad wagon, but keeping malice with obnoxious woman !! It will give you a psychological truma , it's not good for anybody's health

Many good points, especially the 'power of a woman'. BUT, BUT, BUT.... to boast as a king of malice shows a height of childishness. It's so dangerous and can crash your home. I say this, not because of him, even though I hope he does better in that regard, but because of those unmarried and fragile minds who think they are learning life lessons from this show. Teju kept quiet over that, didn't comment. Being diplomatic? Hope you told him behind camera to walk on that weakness?
