Thank you Pastor Bohr for a good, thorough, and biblically sound explanation of this very important topic. The teaching harmonizes with the work of Jesus in the heavenly sanctuary and therefore impinges on our salvation. Satan hates any message that enlightens those who are in darkness and yet believe they are pleasing God. He is not their friend! Nothing could be more deceiving than believing in a human's ability to forgive another human's sin as in the mass, or in believing that another human is the representative of Jesus on earth, i.e the Holy Spirit. I have seen a photograph of the Pope sitting on his throne between two cherubins (angels.) Just imagine that. To those who truly understand this symbolism, it is nothing short of blasphemy! May our dear Heavenly Father open our eyes. Make us humble and teachable. This message underscores the huge importance of *utilizing correct principles and methods of Bible study* or as the Bible says of it *rightly dividing the Words of truth.* May God bless us all on this fifth workday of the week, Thursday.

I get what you mean, but I'd like to humbly suggest a better word than "magical" to describe his teaching. *Holy Spirit inspired, blessed of God* or some such is more appropriately spiritual. @Ann Campbell - Pastor Bohr never ignores anything EGW had to say. You have judged him wrongly. You are confused about what EGW meant by what you read. Sister White was referring to the fact that the Advent movement had the dates right, not the understanding of the ‘daily’. Pastor Bohr made that very clear in his lecture. EGW said that the Lord had not given her any understanding about what exactly the ‘daily’ meant.

Please tell me how do you explain the meaning of the daily in Daniel 8,13? This verse clearly says that "the daily" and "the transgression of desolation" are the two institutions which are going to tread down "the sanctuary" and "the host". So how could it be in agreement with your claim that according to your view 'Christ's sanctuary ministry' is treading down the sanctuary and the host? You have to bring Daniel 8,13 in agreement with your claim. Daniel 8,13 is a question to Daniel 8,14. If you destroy Daniel 8,13 you consequently destroy Daniel 8,14 which is the foundation of the Advent movement.

@@theway5563 The pastor said that 'the daily' represents Christ's sanctuary ministry and this doesn't fit with Daniel 8,13. The Bible doesn't operate on "selective listening skills" but on clear principles. You need to take all the witnesses into account and bring them in agreement, otherwise you'll end up claiming that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday based on one witness for Sunday but all the others against it. It is a dangerous path and there is no need of "selective listening arguments"...

Yes, it is talking about the United States ! It began with lamb like values and was based on their need to serve God without persecution! But over time, and especially now, it speaks like a dragon and is passing laws which contradict God’s laws! Also it is joining with the RCC and allowing it to have a say in the laws that are passed, slowly, but surely working towards a Sunday law! The recent events that have happened because of the COVID virus have shown the dragon agenda through the use of masks and stay at home mandates.

The USA was not an organized kingdom or united nation with an organized government, which had a king or ruler (such as a president). The Bible refers to it as a wilderness. It had indigenous natives, but they were all warring against each other. The various tribes never set up a united government or a single RULER to rule over all the tribes.

When he heard that the general he had sent to defeat the Maccabees ( Lysias ) was defeated in Jerusalem , he boarded a ship and fled to the coastal cities . Wherever he came , the people rebelled and called him " The Fugitive " , so he drowned himself in the sea . Finally , how can the little horn in Daniel 8 , be the same little horn in Daniel 7 ? The little horn in Daniel 8 came from the four generals of Grecia ; while the little horn in Daniel 7 came up among the ten horns of Rome . The four Generals of Grecia kingdom begin around 325 B.C. , and the Roman republic history goes back to 700 B.C. We must believe that the angel of God say . Shalom !

@@messengerisrael3817 Hi messsenger as per Matthew chapter 24 and a significant amount of Biblical prophesy, it simultaneously current talks about local literal events while at the same time talking about future global end time events. @@messengerisrael3817 - Wrong on all counts. You didn’t listen to Pastor Bohr’s lecture at all. You only came to use satanic distraction from truth. Daniel and the angel, Gabriel, have nothing whatsoever to say about any Grecian ruler. This idea was conjured (conned) up by the Jesuits so the heat could be removed from the Papacy being the antichrist and the REAL abomination. A pagan king has no role in this prophecy. @Ann Campbell - If you had actually opened your ears & mind to listen, you would have heard the Pastor explain what EGW had to say. You need to realize that Pastor Bohr would have already exhaustively read everything EGW had to say on this subject. She said that God had not given her any insight or knowledge as to what the ‘daily’ actually meant. You must be from some offshoot SDA group. Christ was officiating in the Heavenly Sanctuary until October 22, 1844, and in so doing, He was performing the daily ministration in the Holy Place. Why do you think Christ is our High Priest, and what do you imagine He has been doing since His ascension? He has been performing the priestly Holy Place ministrations in Heaven on our behalf.
