The luxury fibers is where you'll see the biggest bang for your buck. They have an extra fine super wash merino worsted weight roving style that is OUTSTANDING, and only $7.50 US per 100 grams... I love Picasso yarn. I also like the regular saver yarn. It’s so soft and beautiful. I never ordered directly from my I indirectly ordered through a place here in the United States that carried ice yarns. I got the Picasso from them and then they decided to do mystery boxes and that’s how I got the acrylic saver yarn fell in love with it, I would love to purchase directly but that shipping I don’t can’t justify it no matter what if they end up costing me $.50 all great if not, can’t justify that shit but your luscious yard is beautiful. If you're looking for something simple for your first wearable, maybe try a cocoon sweater - literally a rectangle that you fold in half and seam the sides together with armholes along the fold line. If you want to fancy it up, trim it in a contrasting yarn, maybe a novelty like eyelash or fun fur. Very cute, and it literally could NOT get any simpler. Have fun! 🐞

Cakes DK is a nicer feeling version of Mandala. It's the same thickness, but instead of standard acrylic, it's the premium finer stuff. I have a blanket of the match for the Genie colorway in mandala and it's nice and soft. It holds up nicely too. It's good if you want something lightweight like a wearable or blanket for warmer weather months or something light for a baby. If you want something with more substance, I'd probably go with something like Alara or Lorena for matching size. The cotton gives it heft while allowing it to breathe and they hold up well in the wash also. It ends up feeling like a good jersey knit.
