Sir i have query regarding sec.21 n 22 As mentioned in sec.21,such contract is not voidable,then what would be the status of such contract? Is it Valid or void? Bcoz as you said8:09 that for sec.22 such contract is not voidable as because of unilateral mistake of party and remians valid.

Lectures r enough, u just need to refer the bare acts and obviously the case law study for which u need to subscribe Supreme Court cases or RCR... U need not to follow any etc books, SSC OR RCR sharps ur mind and clear all ur doubts

They are taking about the foreign law which is not to be presumed to be in the knowledge of the common man. So mistake as to foreign law is considered to be equal to a mistake of fact

Sir section 22 says contract is not voidable if one party is under mistake of fact but in case lake vs simmons u told it is void so it means it can be void from it commencement but cannot be declared voidable
