My doubt How to draw that line which is 6mm away from axis and inclined 45° to vp

Put the protector on point 2 in such manner that 0 degree of protector match with oo' line. Next step is, measure 45 Degree from left hand side and draw a line 124, we can form angle o24 equal to 45 degree. We can see cutting section line 124 make 45 degree with vertical plane.
