Great video as always, thank you! One thing I would like to add is that the band will pull back your bio hair at the sides just like any headband does so I like to pull that hair out so I can blend it with my top piece and it helps to hide the thin rubber band at the sides too. Also since I have such thin fine hair in the bang area I prefer to attach my top piece to the milano band before I put it on. I found that if I try to clip my top piece while I'm wearing it the clips will still attach to a little bit of my bio hair and for me, I'm wanting to avoid that in order to protect the hair that's left in that area. I hope that helps!

As usual, I'm "a day late and a dollar short" i am a bang girl. I have no hairline hair. Read up on Milano top grip but didn't want to mess with clips not matching up with clip slots and too lazy to try and do my own. So, i just remembered you mentioning something about them a long time ago. Boom! Sure enuff i found your video. I didn't think you could just clip them into the top band. Duh. Another problem solved. Thanks to you. Once i try it out I'll be ordering way more toppers from you. I can wear any size topper. But I'm a large cap. Yes. I can enlarge my wigs. Again, thanks to your video. But i find getting the correct size cap does work better for me. Can't wait to go check out more of your toppers now. ❤

I also clip my top pieces from GSW directly onto the front edge of the grip. You can sew pieces of trim to different areas of the topper, making loops for attachment, or move the loops. Also, I chose a large size topper grip (because I didn't know any better) months ago, but it's what I've been wearing under Medium Top, Long Top and 22" Topper.

I’m thankful to find your video. I was getting frustrated trying to clip the wig grip onto the clips without the wire thing bending. It wasn’t easy. Then I found your video & now is easy just clipping it onto the gripper. So far my topper is feeling very comfortable & secure with it on this way.

I have been using this about close to a year. I LOVE it. I added a middle clip to my topper. I clip it in place first, then slip my topper on. But now that I’ve seen this video, I’m going to try Rochell’s method. The back loop rides up, but it’s so easy to discreetly pull it down. And, when I’m really busy I completely forget that I’m wearing it!😃 This is a great product!👍

So happy you are going to carry these! I plan on ordering a large size. The regular wig grip gives me a headache after a while and it also slips backwards, even if I spray my hair with hair spray first to hold it in place.

Me too: headache, and slipping. I discovered these early in my journey, thanks to all of my KZbin, watching in my “spare time.“ I began putting one of those non-attached combs with the silicone on top at the back of the topper grip, pointing toward the front of my head, and that seem to keep, the topper in place as well as give a little extra grip to the top of the wig I was wearing. It’s so much easier to add a clip at the back on the thin silicone (?) band, pointing down the nape of my neck to make certain it doesn’t slip up. I love these.

As a Virgin Wig Wearer I'm in the nervous stage. I had to return two wigs, THANK GOD YOU MADE IT SO EASY. Not able to get to your salons to try wigs on, the return is the next best opportunity, Still color "shy" Keeping my new Chocolate Swirl Freedom. This Secure Topper without clips looks great. Most of my thinning is the "bangs" area, this looks like a good solution.

I have short hair in the back. I wear a Cristi top and wear the new grip. I can’t feel it I. And the strip that keeps it on does not show in the back. I ha very just enough hair in the back to cover the plastic strip. Can’t tell I have to grip on. Stays in place all day. Love it.

I have problems with lace fronts lifting & am wondering if a top gtip will keep it pulled taught so i don't have to use glue, which i hate

The Top Grip works because you can then clip the wig clips into the Top Grip instead of hair. Also, if you wear your hair without bangs, since the hairline will be more noticeable, I would use our 'It Stays Glue'. If you do wear some bangs, I don't think you need to glue at all. You could try a stretchy headband at your crown - maybe that would secure enough. I have to say that when a clients' hair is ultra thin, our wigs are light and airy and do not inhibit hair growth!! Some of our wigs are just 2 oz.! For over 27 years our clients are thrilled once they choose from feeling empowered. Yes, there's a way. Leave a little of your hair ( in a line) out of the pony at the very bottom. Then, put on the top Grip, then gather all the hair up together and now the strap should be hidden. xo Ro

Some toppers have a comb in front. It looks like you could slip the comb through the loop in the front, is that correct? What size of cap is yours? Mine is an 8x8, so wondering if I’d need the bigger one?

You can totally hide the string in the back by pulling about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch of your hair below it. Use a rat tail comb or your finger just below the string and pull that hair down. Now the string is totally invisible and you can now pull it up in a pony tail, etc.

What happened to the hair pieces that had a big comb that was so secure and stayed into backcombed hair. They were the BEST!!! You could back comb them and blend them into your own hair for volume...those annoying little clips are practically useless. Perhaps you could talk to your supplier and start making them again. So many of us from the 60's would LOVE to be able to have these again

I have been using the Milano Top Grip with my GSW Toppers. I always pull my hair up in back and secure the twist with a hair clip. I sewed a clip into the center front of the topper, removed the side front clips (where my hair is very thin ), and clipped the topper into the center loop of the Grip. I then removed the silicone band and bobby pinned the Grip to the sides of my head where the hair is thicker. The bobby pins are covered by the base of the Topper and the hair on the sides. It works well because the hair clip in back also helps keep the Topper secure. I hope this makes sense...:) @@GodivasSecretWigs

I also use Godiva’s 2 sided tape on my toppers and then use the clips in the back where I still have hair. So far this has worked for me.
