Security Awareness Episode 6: Vishing

Adobe, the National Cyber Security Alliance, and Speechless have partnered to bring you a series of security awareness videos. A total of eight videos will be released between November 2019 - October 2020.
Security Awareness Episode 6 covers “vishing” which is defined as the fraudulent practice of making phone calls or leaving voice messages purporting to be from reputable companies in order to trick individuals to reveal personal information, such as bank details and credit card numbers.

We really enjoy these videos, but it possible to turn on Closed Captioning for this video (episode 6 - vishing)? The other videos in this series are closed captioned. Hearing impaired viewers would really appreciate it!

VoIP numbers are nearly impossible to trace virtually. There is no identity verification process to get one of these free numbers, since users can simply create a number in just a snap without providing their real identity. Fortunately, there are ways to save yourself from unwanted calls and possible vishing through a Phone Number Validator to identify the source of the call. You may not uncover who the real caller is, but you can still find out who the carrier is.
