I think sun and moon would know about the show. Sometimes kids like miraculous ladybug. I think Sun will asked the person who watched it. "Who's your favorite character?" The kid will probably answer with one of the characters name. Moon would probably ask this. "Why are fighting some bad guys (not actually bad guys but a akumatized villains) past their bedtime?' the kid cool only answer with they protect the city. If the animatronics exists in the Miraculous universe they wouldn't detect the Kwamis but would be able to tell each Miraculous holder had a their secret identities.

That's how it works in my AU actually, I did fuse the Miraculous universe into my AU because I like both of the series and I wanted to combine them, however if an animatronic has a soul/human form they can see the kwamis but not as the animatronic.
