That security guard probably lost his job by now for making laws that doesn't exist.

I never understood what made people so upset about a camera. His security guard is about to lose his job over a camera? I mean there are things worth sticking up for her but this is just stupid!

The stupid is strong in that one. He is violating her constitutional rights and be charged. As a rent a cop he has not qualified immunity. The company he worked for will definitely be held liable.

I wonder if the security guard is a retired police officer? I hope there's a follow-up video on this place in the future.

So half-way into the video, and I will make a couple of couching/correcting statements for clarification 1.) Government property CAN be private, but there are additional tests to determine that in a court. 2.) If the security person had requested a trespass order, that could be given. Violating it prior to court could result in arrest. Trespass can be given for any reason, even by the government, but that trespass holding up in court is a totally different story. So now the however on above. That location appears to be open to public business. It does not appear to have secure entrances to the lot, normal business to be conducted, so that as part of the additional tests (unless the judge was a moron) would be ruled to be public in all areas not otherwise posted (restricted access, employees only, locked fenced/gated areas etc). So first test down - public facing location - 1st amendment filming allowed. 2.) Removal from property. Well now that test 1 above is down, if that got before a judge, it would not go well. Also the security guard not being an officer means no qualified immunity. Government entity deprivation of rights suit could easily be won even by a law school student; and the guard is privately on the hook for any damages too. So far auditor is calm, co-operative with police, politely asking for an escort. This is a good audit, that security guard is an idiot with tiny power syndrome, and will watch the rest hoping the cops stay on the right side of the constitution for this one.
