are we supposed to be getting botnet alerts, trojan alerts etc after installing sec onion? Could they be examples of what the alerts could look like? I did not get them before when I previously installed Sec onion...

You are supposed to see the url to the Web interface once you complete the OS installation . 1. You are suppose to assign two NICs to the host(Onion Security) 2. Your NICs are suppose to be bridged if you are working in a virtual environment.
