I would like to thank you so much for this course! It's helping me so much. A little back story I've graduated with a BA in Network Security and I love my college but I felt it lacked a bit of hands-on. So I got my own Dell Power Edge server which runs VMware Esxi. and Just yesterday (it's 3:20am haha) I got a Cisco network switch with 28 ports which is a big step up from my Netgear 8 port switch and that switch is connected to my router/firewall which runs pfSense. Now I have all my devices running through that main network switch and I plan on configuring VLANs to segregate traffic and enabling port mirroring for security onion which I have installed on a virtual machine. I was able to follow along through most of the course but once I configure my VLANs, setup port mirroring, and document my devices and network with NetBox (so many things running are making things tedious to remember at this point haha 40 devices on the network and a lot of physical ports in use) I will rewatch this course and follow it in its entirety. I can't wait! I'm finally doing what my school taught us about and your course is helping me accomplish that thank you so much. P.S I have a job interview in 11 in a half hours for a Cyber Security Analyst position it's going to be a two-hour online interview and I need to get some sleep wish me luck! xD
