Man dude, the good days of Swifty I feel like. Man I miss these days. I feel like watching these videos takes me way back to the days where I was in awe of what Swifty did in this game and with his video editing and montages and stuff. Swifty, the copy and paste idea I've been using for everything that requires a password for many years. Photobucket passwords, e-mail, gaming, everything it's very effective. It's nice you've shared it with everyone.

@doxzor Make sure you are typing in the serial code part on the serial code, and the authenicator on the login. Also, when putting it on your account, pick the "mobile authenticator", not the normal one

I used to copy+paste and it's a great method. But some keyloggers take screenshots. I have Kaspersky now and you can right click it on the toolbar to bring up a keyboard to click the letters.

@TsunamicKaskade : I didn't say it steals the file, i said it will record all entries on the PC and no, most keyloggers don't aim for a specific application, they monitor all actions on a PC. So when a person recovering the data from the keylogger, they get an entry that will list which application that has started, when it was started and all keystrokes that follows. This lets the data thief see what the victim is entering whether it be an application login or website login.

In Case you didn't read it already: In Addition to SS and Warbringer Nerf, they lowered the damage of Conc Blow by a HUGE 50%. The compensation, the long awaitet DPS-Buff is a 20% buff to Devastates Weapon dmg. A Joke, compared to the losses and the nerf of nonMSspeccs by the Resiliencechange. @dragonkillaga Mages for example are based on not getting hit, because they have low HP and no physical defense other than their shields. Shieldslam removes them and I use it as arms to give 8k dmg even if i dont crit since it removes 7k of shield in an instant. Most warriors want to run in and BOOM! but that hardly ever works out against mages. Using line of sight you can kill a mage because you regenerate health and the dont (second wind)

True, but only if you stay as offensive as you could with prot. Interestingly enough, the benefits of being prot came from being able to play offensive even against mages while still having all benefits of a passive playstyle. whereas passive for a warrior is 1hand+shield because -own dmg, -dmg done to you. Now you have 2 CC breakers less, charge and intercept, that a skilled mage would encounter anyway. arms has to LOS mages and now prot might to, a little at least. intervene still breaks root.

Tell me about it swifty! I've started doing Prot in arena's now, have been a PvE player since I started long ago however since wrath I've been wanting to get into PvP. Arms was always irritating - no real interupt in battle stance, mages completely dominating you... the list goes on! Prot was fantastic, I can actually live with Charge/Intercept not breaking routes/snares, but the resilience change completely fucks Prot in the arse. We rely on sudden bursts of stuns/siliences along with damage

hey swifty, about the copy and paste to save your information, most key loggers today can search through your clip board (where your copy is saved onto) and they can easily get your information, i would advise using simple open source programs to protect yourself, 10yrs of mmo and never have been hacked avg free - protects your information while stopping any Trojans, key loggers or viruses from entering your computer ccleaner- cleans cookies and your cache to avoid any 3rd party programs

Good tips on the account security. As for the prot nerfs, I believe they were needed but at the same time I think the nerf was inflated by all the QQ going on by casters. My main is a warrior and i've pvped as prot and found it to be just about at the right level. I've also lately been levelling a frost mage (72) in PVP and I can honestly say that i'd much rather fight a prot warrior than a hunter or a shadow priest/arcane mage/lock. I find it odd that mages are at the top of prot QQ chain. =\

a well coded keylogger can intercept paste so even from a txt document it isnt safe, the only thing that is is a good anti virus with good rootkit detection, changing passwords often and using long hard mixed char passwords

Hey swifty, or any other warriors out there, I'm wondering if wow is worth getting again, I quit a couple months back due to shaman pvp being horrible and after watching your videos I feel like getting the game again and rerolling warrior, I'm not anywhere near as skilled as you or most of the other warriors out there...do you think I could enjoy the warrior class for PVP? or should I stick it out til cataclysm and roll a herioc leap warrior when the game is promised to be fixed. I also agree that Prot Paladins are OP, however Warriors are in need of a Nerf much more, Prot Paladins go Oom in 2 seconds flat, Warriors have an unlimited supply of rage

I love the prot spec for pvp as well. Although I'll admit I'm not really that good at pvp to begin with. I was learning and improving my game. The nerf came as quite a surprise to me as I really didn't see that many prot pvp warriors in my battlegroup. I've never hit arenas though. So, I didn't see any reason why it "needed" to be nerfed - at least according to Blizzard. Good luck. Hope you find a playable spec you enjoy.

Hey Swifty, got two things to say. One of my friends was jacked recently, the hacker transfered his main off his account and now ~2 months later he still has it, and blizzard cannot do anything as he "legally" owns the character now. Also, not sure about your old screen size, but if it was small, are you having trouble watching health bars? I play as a healer on a 32" screen and it was so hard to get used to.

Prot Warriors are being Nerfed because you ARE Overpowered, it is as simple as that. Having the best defence in the game, blocking 50% of my hits, doing insanely high damage, and at the SAME time being able to stun lock people. That is what you call OP, looks like Arms is back again

Draek who was considered a top Prot War dropped prot and lost r1 saying it was shit now, but Alloran still took relentless with it and apparently plans to continue with it... I dont think the prob was with warbringer, i think the prob was the shield slam crits. Prot was about mobility and control and was just fun to play. but the SS Crits overdid it.

@sirru2 But the thing is... he is just giving a suggestion for "Key loggers" not any other security exploits and if your that worried about it just encrypt the notepad text file with another password... and wright the real password on a note in real life and use a virtual keyboard when accessing that personal text file.. Run a antivirus scan.. and just use the cmd to give your self the administration rights back

1. Copy-Paste isnt safer as you still have a passwordfile that can be stolen 2. Protnerf are 2 things. Charge and Intercept dont break Root or Slow effects, high-shieldblockvalue from a lot of strength gets limited more. You still can stack it from blockvalue items! So you can still prot around in arena, its just a bit more about when you intervene to charge back. No real pve nerf luckily, ive been playing as if the nerf was there already and in pve you do fine. Swifty is a bit of a whiner no?

Hey swifty random warrior from EU i just started to play abit prot after got the 2200 wep 2h and 1h but kinda lost the feeling when i saw inc nerf. i actually wanted to ask about the keyboard in that movie i got the same one and i got a huge problem with it. somtimes it like turns off on certain buttons like(shift,alt,½ and A S D somtimes stucks so i keep walkin one way without havin any chance to do anything except to pull out USB and put it back in. wanted to know if u knew anyway to fix it

and thats completely the opposite of what Blizzard are trying to achieve, our Stun/silience lock will probably be finished with the Priest / Druid at 40% health once this goes live ._. An upside is, sustained Prot DPS is gonna get buffed, im not sure how much but its coming the same time as the Warbringer/SS nerf.

Wonder how the double resillience fix blizzard makes will effect warrior. So depending on their current amount of resilience, characters might experience a 10 to 20% decrease in damage taken from other players. could be fun begin prot with 1500-1600 resil just to piss people off in bg

Never store passwords as plain text. Its a good idea to not use keystrokes, but its best to use an application like keepass. Storing passwords in plain text files is just as bad as entering the keystrokes.

As for nerfing shieldslam (again) it doesnt affect swifty because he switched to ArP prot with other skills to use. Watch that video. the only thing swifty has to come by now is that hell have to intervene and then charge out of nova and roots, or get himself a pala/priest healer, they remove that kind of CC anyway. I dont get how "talented" players and some that call them selves "pros" get all wound up about this. it was foreseen and now deal with it, just like mages had to one season.

Prot was really good, some call it overpowered. Yes perhaps because of all the stuns, silences, interrupts and also.. spell reflect. As a shaman there isn't a thing you can do to counter a prot warrior really.
