Professor Sedge, Big D. I was having a problem with the plane tracks as Big D. I rewatched this two more times. Taking is a part my corners needed a sanding. Also the chip breaker need to be adjusted. What a great hard learned lesson. Thanks again

One other tip for the chip breaker, hold it up to the light and ensure there is no light peaking though, if so the chip breaker edge is not flat or you have a hollow in the back of the iron.

Sedge ... what are your thoughts on the Japanese-style planes? Have you ever considered doing a comparison between the Japanese-style planes and the Western-style planes?

I have used them ....I like them...I only use Western...... stuck in my ways I guess.....hmmmmm maybe time to try out !!! Thanks..
