I just used my TS75 to edge joint some 2x6 boards for glue up. The seams are perfect on both sides. On a scrap piece I dialed it in to exactly 90. The best advice I ever got for using my track saw is to do a backwards scoring cut. Regardless of what I'm cutting all 4 edges of the cut are pristine, even cross cutting oak plywood.

Great video Sedge & Team. One suggestion, buy some more repeatable stops, they help with making the consistent cuts, cause once you set them up, you can always go back and repeat it for that project.

Just found your channel a few days ago. Some great information you guys put out. Looking forward to more content. At the 12:15 mark what brand of tape measure are you using? I am looking for a good tape measure that has both metric and imperial to replace one that broke and haven’t one that is decent and I like the way the markings are on that blade. Thanks for your time. Ron

Oh man, I wish I had had you as a mentor when I started woodworking lo these many years ago. Having spent what seems as 95% of my pension on various Festools there is always something new you are teaching me about them. One question if I may. Why do you not use the green outrigger splinter guard? Cheers, Peter

If I wanted one saw, I can't afford a miter saw and a track saw, should I get a HK 55 or a TS 55? Does the TS have better dust control than the hk, and will the TS do crosscuts as well? I just want to make the right investment. Thanks.

I’m assuming these cabinets are going to end up with shelves yet I noticed the 1000mm measurement is not an increment of 32. If you use the LR32 why are these not balanced panels? In other words, why not go slightly under or over to hit that 32 increment. Thanks?
