Tell me how does it improve on wildlife when you go behind the cutters and spray the forest floor to kill everything but the pine tree , that helps man out only .

Especially in maple and oaks? Ants #1 favorite trees for nesting and food.a lot of logging/chipping in Virginia will let new growth,or vegetation,come up for deer and all.plus it provides cover for animals,too.a lot of loggers will replant from helicopters.they toss out seedlings and let nature take over
