This Musical needs to be released on home media like DVD, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix so that fans can go back in time and relive this great show
@uttula

There are admittedly great releases for home media of various stage plays, but ... often the people making them either try "too hard" to make it a more "movie-like" experience with multiple camera angles etc. ... or they don't try at all which - also isn't exactly an ideal experience, since home sofa - even on a huge screen - doesn't usually translate properly. IMHO, the beauty of stage plays is the way they work with the limitations of the physical space they have. In B2TF-musical e.g., the way they're using the car prop alongside the clocktower "set" is ... purely magical thing that they've made amazing on stage. But I don't see it translating to screen too well without some huge changes. While I wholeheartedly agree that they should make a video release of the show - since many people simply will never have the means to attend a live performance and ... I feel bad for them - it must be stated that stage productions are *best* experienced the way they've originally been planned for; on stage. If you can, go see it. You won't be disappointed. Even if stage plays normally aren't for you :)

Marty and Doc were absolutely amazing, everyone could sing beautifully (cast seemed to be west end veterans from the programme) and the special effects were glorious - not to mention THAT ENDING. I've watched many west end shows and I don't think anything can top that.

Here Here! For the mighty Winter Garden! At last, someone who seems to know their theatres. The interior auditorium is shaped like an oval platter and has the widest stage in town. "42nd St." was never the same when it transferred first to the Majestic and then to the St. James. My fave too (right after the Richard Rodgers, formerly the 46th St. Theatre--the one house to hold more Best Musical Tony winners than any other place.)

Hello! You may all wonder how the car disappearing works, or how the car flys at the end! Well you are in luck I know someone who worked on this on west end, there are 4 cars used throughout the show when the car flys the car you see on stage drops through a trapdoor and a car from the top come out on a big arm with Marty and docs understudy’s are in!

@@mollycblaeser so far what I’ve been able to figure out is the car that flies is separate from the one on stage and has a rig attached to the back. The bottom of the car has a circular mount that can spin it 360. Below that it attaches to an arm that can spin it 360 to invert, that arm most likely also can retract and expand leading it to go off stage. It’s nothing with wires, etc. it’s something that probably lockes into the stage with the knife pins and then can move off stage quickly enough for curtain call. It also is engineered to be small as it’s doing to be used on Tour.

0:27 How do they have the nerve of saying he thinks every single moment in that scene is important. This is the one scene they really messed up in the musical. In the movie, that is a long scene where you feel that Marty might lose his only chance to return to the future because of the accident where the line that takes the electrical discharche gets caught in the branch. Please kindly show us the storyboard panels with those vital Epic moments. Oh wait....they don't exist because you just skipped absolutely EVERYTHING, and the whole thing's over with ONE successful attempt, no dramatic moments of thinking it might not work. Just swiftly plugged in. Done and dusted. These people need to be told just how much they screwed up this scene. they don't get to pat themselves on the back saying they successfully adapted it. Because they didn't

The DeLorean and the technical stagecraft was amazing but everything else about this show sucked. Like...
