Boat lucky not to be damaged as it heads out the river bar when its mooring breaks after heavy rain.
Two men manage to get on and save the boat.Check out another vid from the same bar, where boat nearly flips • Boat Has a Close Call ...

Amazing the prop wasn't fouled with all that crap in the water. Without power he is SOL. Good job working out of that jam. Maybe invest in better mooring lines?

I thought they handled it well. It was a bit iffy to wade out to the boat but the wave action there wasn't too crazy. The boat looked well maintained, people always forget to put money into their moorings... Was that a barn animal floating downstream? Wuh NZ...

@pigskin1000
@pigskin1000 5 жыл бұрын
Why are you in need to straighten out your prop with a hammer all the time? I suggest you learn how to operate a boat and that won't be necessary. BTW, using a hammer to straighten out the big props on that boat would never work. They need to be fixed professionally or else you are sure to have vibration. Which can cause all kinds of other problems.

Interesting & very rough water. Telephoto lens accentuates this, making it look like no space between wave groups. Yes, unmanned boat adrift or sunk...first on board gets salvor's rights, isn't it? Some marine laws are international because they go so far back in time. Too bad there are no international environmental ocean protection laws, or few anyway.

I was thinking the same thing. lol...He could have been as easily crushed. I watched a 28 foot whaler get set right up on shore in one big wave while a couple of guys were trying to hook a tow line. They had run out of fuel when the lake got rough. On Lake Superior shit can go bad real quick.

You must mean no structural damage, because that boat got swamped! There's bound to be water damage in the living quarters if not inside the cabins where the portholes are on the bow. Good they saved it, though.

As long as they closed all of the ports and if anything in that water somehow broke the glass I think it wouldn't be very wet in the cabin if at all. As long as the seals for everything were in good shape it should be fine
