May Allaah guide us towards beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds. Indeed there is a difference between `Ilm (knowledge) and Hikmah (wisdom). Not everyone who has knowledge is guided. A person may have knowledge, but he does what he has been prohibited from doing, and neglects what he has been commanded to do. Such a person is void of guidance. Then there is a person who has knowledge of the Arabic language, but engages in translating fabricated and weak Ahaadeeth and spreads them amongst the masses; while leaving the many authentic Ahaadeeth which have not yet been translated.
