Yeah Google Glass used beamsplitters to project virtual images over your actual field of view! A lot of augmented reality devices use optics like this

No not with these, but you can with a prism! If you have a triangular block of glass, different colors entering it would be bent at slightly different angles. That makes the Pink Floyd logo
