I have to say, that is a really nice outfit overall! The centaur part is really cute, and I love how you rigged the legs to move the way they do (I can see someone adapting that trick to do a drider/arachne character), and the rose bandeau is very pretty, as well as quite tastefully done. I can't wait to to get a copy of your book now, so I can use it as reference for a few ideas I currently have on the back burner... EDIT: Also nice to see a lot of polite and respectful comments on the outfit and how pretty you look in it. Looks like this channel has a good crowd going here! ^_^

This costume is difficult enough to wear with flat shoes - I can only wear it about an hour before I have to take it off. Wearing it with heels would significantly shorten that time.

i feel that a way to make it look more natural, you could add looser fabric around the body, front legs, and back legs. to add fur and, as well, as hide the crease.

The centaur part of Fantasia was always my favorite part of the movie as a kid. I would watch those parts over and over again. I wanted to be a centaur so badly. Still to this day, it is my favorite part of the movie.

It doesn't benefit my balance at all, because the back legs are not load-bearing. The entire body is just suspended off my waist. If anything, the centaur body imbalances me.

I don't think you can "get" a centaur costume anywhere. The only ones I've seen were built custom. I built this one myself.

if I were to do this I would buy a muscle man costume for the top half of me, for two reasons one If I buy it it will be made of a material that will keep me warm in my part of Canada and cost 10 times less than if I make it myself, and second my physique is not impressive enough to pull it off plus again it is really cold here outside of summer, I would do all this so I can do justice to the quest for glory centaur Heinrich cosplay I had in mind.

It would be a very quick video! The horse body goes on and comes off in about 4 seconds, haha. There's a waist belt and two jewelry clasps for the fishing line, and that's it!
