Thank you JW for a wonderful video. Primrose is so stunning! I am so happy to see another golden monkey on "Golden Monkey Hill". I was shocked when I learned that Marilyn/Blonde had been sterilized! Why would you sterilize a golden monkey in the park that is known as Golden Hill Park? I hope that doesn't happen to Marigold or Primrose! Again, a wonderful video!

You might mean that Goldie was sterilized, who is from the same troop as Marigold and Primrose. Marilyn aka Blondie is from another troop and she hasn't been steriliazed. She just didn't give birth during the last three years.

It‘s man made. The monkeys get extra food from people permanently and for this reason they produces more offspring. This burdened their evironment and the officials have to deal with the problem.

It heartbreaking beyond words,when the sterilize the young ones, or the good mums, if you have to do this sterilization stuff at least put some thought it a program that would destroy there lives, it is beyond cruel to do this to the young females, ok I said way to much, I not there so I guess I should keep my comments to myself.P.S love you kiddo.

First time I have EVER seen an adult monkey sucking their thumb. This is truly sad. All because of humans. Humans expanding so much it takes over the monkeys habitat and then humans start feeding them which causes them to grow in numbers and then humans sterilize them to reduce their numbers....now we have a troop that is dying out because of it and a female monkey sucking her thumb for comfort. Truly sad.

They are actually, several of them. We don’t see much in the way of drama with them because they don’t care for the babies. But it’s just as heartbreaking in my opinion.😢

They really need to stop the sterilization program. Makes my heart break for these monkeys. Humans should not interfere with monkeys reproductive abilities. They’re not pets so why the hell are they sterilizing them. Let them multiple and leave them be. They have 1 baby per season and nearly a 1/3 do not make it to adulthood. They’re trying to extinct these monkeys. Humans suck. They ruin nature.

Ashland is the mom that drags her baby when she is leaving. Not like Nora but her exits incorporate a bit of bragging not a gentle pickup like Reddy. Aisha is absolutely adorable! I'm not certain if Ashland has other kids.
