When I was working in the oilfields of East Texas a few years ago I was near Wortham and visited Blind Lemon Jefferson's grave a few times. Always made sure I picked up any trash that might be laying around.

I know this ia attributed to Gerdes Folk City (which if it were so it would be extremely rare as only 3 songs seem to circulate from the Gerdes 1961 tape), but I believe it has been previously available and should be credited to The Gaslight. If you play the two recordings at the same time they are identical. So I think this has been available for a while on the various unofficial releases of "the Gaslight Tapes''.

I Think you are right. Dinks Song is on Best of the Bootleg Series, which now makes 4 songs in circulation.

Elston Gunn IS Bob Dylan... That was his stage name at one point before he became Bob Dylan.

It could have ended up Elston Dylan, or Bob Gunn. Or Elston Zimmerman. Elston Dymmerman
