When I speak with other Irish people about what happened yesterday in Dublin City - I simply tell them to go and walk around North Inner City Dublin and tell me what they see & what they think is happening there. I only go there - maybe once a week , for a very short period. I always get depressed at what I see. I think if I had to live there - I would VERY QUICKLY loose my reason . There were NO young men from middle class areas of Co Dublin in these riots -nor were there any from DUBLIN 4. These young guys yesterday , are mostly badly educated , hardly articulate , frustrated - but KNOW in their hearts , that their government & state has betrayed them . The little areas they live in , were already social cesspools before many tens of thousands of immmigrants were parachuted in on top of them .
