Wonderful technique, do you cut 1/8 off the other side or fold it over to mate them up? I don't have these die cuts so I send my little one through in different places except the middle.

Wow! These cards look like you spent hours working on them. I just love the detailed butterfly and the layered background dies (but they are a little too expensive for my budget). I have a question about the shimmer pen you used: use said you used the aqua shimmer pen; is it more shiny than the spectrum noir shimmer pen or the wink of stella? I also noticed a change in your glue pen. Is the Gina K. pen easier than the Collage Medium to use? Again, thanks for the beautiful lesson.
@jennifermcguireink6 жыл бұрын
the aqua shimmer pen is more of a basic shimmer instead of a warm shimmer. so i like it better. and the gina k glue is very easy to use.

beautiful cards and a great way to use dies that we rarely use :) Do you remove an eighth of an inch from the front panel so it's the same length as the back panel that has an eighth folded?
@jennifermcguireink6 жыл бұрын
no. so i scored the top of the panel but it isn't folded over when i adhere it to the front panel. it it laying flat.

What beautiful cards Jennifer and so delicate. Perhaps the lighter colors add to the beauty. As always fabulous! I do have a question about the hinging...logic says if you fold down 1/8th inch, the front and back wont be even at the bottom/top but they always are...but I don't see you cutting anything off....? Are you doubling hinging? I tried to look at the backs in the glimpses...not helping. What am I missing?

Great idea love it. But I do have to ask the question why on some you didn’t use a top fold card base. I’d love to know if you tried and it didn’t work because of the way the die cuts or if there was any other reason. Thanks!

I have to say thank you for your inspiration! I love to craft and doodle and just create in general. I looked at your blog because I was dying to buy one of your cards but I loved to find out that you don’t sell your crafts you just share them and teach them. That’s so admirable to me. I get asked a lot if I’ll sell something I make and I always struggle with that. I don’t like when I feel pressured to create because people are buying my products. So because of you I’ve decided to start a blog. Thank you for what you do and your continued inspiration!

Really love the pink and white hello card. That is so elegant. Thank you for showing us such beautiful designs. 💕 (I’ve noticed in a couple of videos you are using a circular acrylic stamp block. Is that the Ali Edward’s one from the Story Stamp add-on or do you have another source for that? 😍 I’m trying to find other circular block options for now as the add-on was sold out before new international kit peeps were aware, until the shop restocks it for main sales). 😊
