Or wait out the gpu shortage and buy on at msrp later on. Ram: you can add another 2x16gb of 4000mhz ram later on if you are into editing or streaming and content creation with a total of 64gb ram. Storage: you can add plenty of SSD storage in the case but for the purpose of the (high end build) there is another nvme.2 slot on the motherboard that you can place a 2tb+ Samsung 980 pro in. Cooler: you can add an Aio or Air cooler to reduce cpu/apu temperatures (if aio route you will have to front mount the aio in this builds case and it will be limited to a max of 280mm) *This is not an instant High end PC* *Total Price* : $1350 usd (pc component price are constantly fluctuating in 2021 but don't pay over $1450 usd for this build) This pc is for those that have a high refresh rate monitor and want to put it to use now while waiting out gpu shortage or saving up for a gpu to have a high end pc. This build does have a lot of upgradeability and with a simple gpu upgrade can perform well in 1440p and even 4k gaming. It performs at great temperatures peaked 88 Celsius (which is perfectly normal/safe for AMD 5000 series) with stock cooler and basic OC but for more intensive OC to get even more of the full potential out of the pc I would recommend upgrading the cpu cooler first. With this build you will able to use a 144hz monitor and in some games like fortnite and valorant with the right settings can even use a 240hz monitor to its full potential. Keep in mind this pc is built think for the long term so you will be able to play games at much better graphics settings once you add a gpu.

Interesting point, although I don't thing dGPUs will go anywhere, especially when we are all on the resolution race. At the moment only the high end GPUs can output 8k, nevermind all the iGPUs. @@theTechNotice true, they will always be around, like dSLR cameras, but with a much smaller market share. Might have to wait until 8K and ray tracing is possible with an iGPU. But that is a couple of years ago. I do love my 4750G from last year.

I play old-school RuneScape and I want to screen record and edit videos, but I'm concerned about dropping frames without the GPU. That game doesn't require much to run, so do you think I'd have any issues? How about streaming while screen recording? That's the only game I play so as long as I can manage to edit videos and stream I'll be happy, and I'd have the ability to upgrade if I ever do get into more demanding games

@@theTechNotice Hey man! I found a temporary solution to this problem. It's not ideal, but it worked for me. I bought Corsair Dominator RAM. (Model # CMT32GX4M4C3200C16W). The way I fixed it was by downloading the Corsair ICUE software and changing the actual hardware settings of the RAM itself to a different color. By doing that, you can change how the RAM looks on boot-up (So basically change it from the default RGB rainbow it is assigned out of the factory). This will fix the problem I'm pretty sure in every case and for any RGB configuration you want, but for any time you want to change the color configuration, you'll have to unplug the RAM from the slots that the motherboard does not recognize and then re-plug them in after changing the settings. All of this also assumes the RAM you use is compatible with the Corsair ICUE software and you can change the hardware settings on the RAM... So yeah definitely a specific solution, but again it worked for me so for now I'm happy. I hope they fix the actual problem as soon as possible.
