Hi Wendy... I love what you did on the Christmas tree. The wrapping paper looks like ticking... and to make it your countdown calendar is really terrific. About the yarn color requirement, was it for any diy or the tree specifically? The black fit best with the ticking and the buttons... really wonderful. Oh my goodness... Wendy, dear Wendy, I cannot tell you how impressed I was with your projects! I think you have topped every religious diy I have seen in the 3 yrs I've been doing diys. I have done crafts for about 30 yrs but just got into diys when I got utube. I have never heard the meaning of the 12 days of Christmas, I thought it to be a kid's song. There is usually a story behind every song and this kinda reminds me of THE DECK OF CARDS that was so popular about the 50's with more of a spiritual meaning. TY. Hope you continue to improve health wise, just don't over do. Happy Thanksgiving.
