You had a photo of the seabed when the king crab are around, it would go on for miles like a walking carpet made a good living out of them in Mousehole in the summer months

Fantastic video Chris. It's great that top match anglers are prepared to share their secrets and help us mortals out. Like you,Chris, I've been fishing for nearly 60years but am still learning. Do you find that May rot affects braid more than mono, as it sticks to the rougher surface? Looking forward to the next one.

What a great video Chris, thank you I learnt so much, especially from Joe, what a nice rig he showed us. I would be interested to know if he's using mono or fluro for his rig. Will be trying the half spring. interesting.

@@paulpaula2011 If I find one I will let you know , they have stopped doing the whites, they are Black now, but a black and white pair might be cool.

I was told the reason the Mackerel dont come rightin to the beach until July ,August is because they can't stand the Mayrot in there gills. Is this tr true??
@tonystackleseamatch398
@tonystackleseamatch398 4 ай бұрын
I'm sure that is one reason. They also only come up onto the beach when they are focused on eating whitebait. So the concentration of the whitebait is another reason. This might be as a consequence of improved water clarity.

25lb hook length on that pulley rig is a bit dodgy with all the pressure on it when casting
@tonystackleseamatch398
@tonystackleseamatch398 9 ай бұрын
Its funny i thought that , but i ran some tests, and to my surprise 25 lb up and over pulley broke consistently at 50lb.

Not good dragging small fish on stones and then you put back.

Top notch anglers haha. My grandfather use to throw out a padlock and a bent pin and catch fish.
This mother's baby is too unreliable.
