I like to book the latest flight home possible, we rent a car and then go to Downtown Disney to shop and enjoy! Then we head to the airport after. It is usually about $30 to rent the car for the day, so absolutely affordable! If you have a family, one family member can go get the car and then come back to port and pick everyone up with all their luggage. It works great!

Loved your vlogs! For people with later flights you can usually get a day rate at the Hyatt for 9am to 6pm. This is a great option for families, especially those with small children and babies (aand lots of luggage). You can use the pool and gym, nap, shower, watch the big game on tv, etc. We got on once at the Country Inn and Suites at Port Canaveral also.

This cruise vlog series really hit me in the feels. My brother and I live quite far apart (7,000 miles apart, to be specific), and I really miss seeing him and spending time with him. Watching you and your brother spend such a great time together really makes me miss my brother. I think I'm going to try and work out a vacation for my family and my brother's family.... though it may be more easily said than done. I tend to prioritize travel, while my brother and his family really don't. I could offer to pay for the majority of the trip, and they'd still likely refuse or cancel at the last minute. I'm glad you and your brother had such a great time!

I have cruised RCCL and NCL, and none of them compare to Disney in the slightest! Of course I had fun on both cruises, but there's something about Disney that really makes that extra cost so worth it and memorable. Your positivity and passion for Disney is so inspiring! I tried the freedom of the seas with Royale Caribbean. I loved it it was my first cruise but then I went on the liberty of the seas, and it was alright. My dad surprised us with a Disney cruise on the Disney fantasy. NOTHING compares to it, the Disney cruises are the best vacation you could have. I can’t wait till I can go on another one!!!

Just saw this great video...we are major DCL fans....love Disney....but after trying a few different cruise lines...Norwegian is the best in our opinion. If you loved DCL food, you will be amazed by Norwegian's. And they have a great private island too. Happy cruising!

Well Michael, after my husband and I finished watching these cruise VLOGs, we went ahead and booked our own Disney Fantasy 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise this morning!! We haven't done anything Disney since 2014 but we just couldn't wait any longer. We've done a 5 day double dip cruise on the Dream back in 2012. We leave on Sept 7, 2019 and can hardly wait. I just found these videos and watched 2 each day for the last 4 days. It felt like I took a vacation. So much fun! I was a performer at Disney World for 10 years ( I was very good friends with Prince Eric ), but never went on a Disney Cruise. My first and only cruise was on Royal Caribbean about 2 years ago. There were 16 of us and we had a great time. Our cruise had a medical emergency and we had to turn around and go back to port. It only set us back a little, we made up most of the time. I lost my camera on the cruise. I left it next to a slot machine in the casino and by the time I realized it, it was gone. I see that you just left here after the Toy Story Land opening and the Fourth of July. I hope you had a great time. I have not had a chance to watch the videos yet, but I will. Come back to Florida soon!

Wow, you can feel how hard it was to leave. My heart feels for you. What is that feeling we all have inside of us when we have to leave Disney? I always (like most of you) have to turn around and say Good-Bye to the Castle on my very last night at Disney World, I have to say goodbye to the hotel room, oh that feeling deep down uuugh! New to your vlogs but watched all of these and the Disney dream as well as your sept 2017 WDW. You are just a joy to watch, we love Disney as well both WDW and DCL. Question - did you know you can order room service coffee tea, hot chocolate, pastries to be delivered to your DCL stateroom starting at 5:30 am? Also - did you avoid the dining room breakfast on purpose or just didn’t get a chance? It’s super relaxing compared to Cabanas - mind you both are awesome!

I have had really good luck getting Southwest to move me up on standby to an earlier flight. Sometimes you need to check in with the agents multiple times during the day, but it's worth a try. It's also usually free. Personally I would rather spend a few hours in the middle seat and get home earlier. Though I don't usually have a fun travel partner with me. 😀 Thanks for the vlogs, super fun to watch.

If you do a different cruise line, do Royal Caribbean. I’ve done Disney and royal Caribbean. They’re both awesome but the customer service on Disney surpasses royal Caribbean so much. It’s still a fun experience! Just different.

I would suggest exploring different cruise lines, some are better than Disney in certain ways. I would suggest Norwegian Cruise Line because of the flexibility of what you can do. It is different from Disney because there isn't a dinning plan you have to follow and you can do things on your own time. If you like relaxation and also some thrill I suggest Norwegian 100% (other than Disney), it has plenty of fun activities and plenty of adult only relaxation areas with amazing views of the ocean. It is completely fine if you want to stick with Disney cruises but I suggest you try other lines so you can compare them to Disney.

Hey Disney Cruise fans, My wife and I went on the Fantasy Double Dip just after drydock last year. On the return to Port Canaveral the ship lost power to one of it's engines. We arrived in port many hours later than planned. So, a late flight from Orlando would have been relaxing to those with connecting flights. Now, Disney went all-out to entertain us on the delay that morning. I have never seen so many meet and greets in my life. As we drive, we had no issue with the timing of the disembarkation.
